HC Deb 21 July 1924 vol 176 c911W
Sir F. WISE

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the countries that are participating in the Hungarian loan, with the amounts, the interest charged, and the price of issue in each country?

Mr. GRAHAM

So far as I am aware, the countries in whose markets the loan has been placed are Great Britain £7,900,000, Italy 170 million lire, United States 7½ million dollars, Switzerland 30 million Swiss francs, and lesser amounts in Holland, Sweden, Czechoslovakia and Hungary. The terms are, in general, 7½ per cent, interest at an issue price of about 88; but there may be slight variations in individual issues.
