§ Mr. BAKERasked the Minister of Health whether the Government Bill to deal with smoke abatement will cover steam tractors, which emit sparks and dense smoke during their progress on the public highway; and whether he will confer with the Minister of Transport with a view to stopping this dangerous and objectionable practice?
§ Mr. WHEATLEYI have already conferred with the Minister of Transport on this matter. The Smoke Abatement Bill is not considered the appropriate place to deal with it.
