Mr. ALEXANDERIn the debate on the Board of Trade Vote the, Noble Lord, the Member for Battersea (Viscount Curzon) promised to place some definite proposals before me on the subject of discipline in the merchant service. On receipt of these proposals, I will consider whether the matter is one which should be referred to a committee.
