BUCKINGHAMasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the Committee appointed in December, 1922, with Mr. Justice Rowlatt as chairman, to inquire into the question of the simplification of Income Tax forms has yet 571W reported; and, if so, as the matter is one of outstanding interest to all taxpayers, will he order the Report to be printed and issued at the earliest possible moment?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the second part, I understand that the Report is now being printed and will shortly be ready for issue.
