Mr. ATHOLL ROBERTSONasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware 560W that the Heston-Isleworth District Council recently voted for the payment of a sum of money claimed by their medical officer of health for the replacement of an overcoat alleged to have been lost by him when attending a conference in London; and whether he will take the necessary steps to esure that the payment of the sum in question will be dealt with by the district auditor in due course?
§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSI have no information in regard to this matter. If any payment is made by the council and charged in their accounts it will, in the ordinary course, come under the review of the district auditor at the audit.
