§ Mr. R. YOUNGasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Labour if he is aware that persons living in Culcheth, near Warrington, when out of employment have to travel to Leigh 574W Employment Exchange on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and that if they resumed employment on the following Monday they have spent 2s. 2d. on fares without receiving any benefit, and if their unemployment continues they have to sign on the following Wednesday and Friday, thus spending 3s. 4d. on fares before they receive their first week's benefit; and whether, under these circumstances and to save this expense, a more convenient place for signing will be arranged?
