Thomson, in the absence of the Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Health)An application for a grant towards the construction of the proposed road was made about two years ago, but the Board of Agriculture were274W unable to accede to it. Any further statement which may be submitted to the Board will be considered. The question whether the county council would be prepared to undertake the maintenance of the road if constructed would be one of the factors to be considered.
