Mr. WOODThe amount of additional grant finally payable for any financial year cannot be determined until the audited accounts for the year have been received and examined. Upon available information it is estimated that the total of additional grants for 1922–23 may be payable to twelve authorities, and may amount to about £121,000; and that the total for 1923–24 may be payable to 17 authorities, and may amount to about £157,000. The names of the authorities and the estimated amounts of additional grant for the two years are as follow:—
