§ Mr. AMMONIt would be a matter of some little difficulty to ascertain these details in full at short notice, but I am722W able to give the figures for the past 12 months and perhaps this will suffice. These figures are:
Total number invalided for disability attributable to the service 60 Pension cases (i.e., pension for either disablement or service element or both) 33 Gratuity (only) cases (disablement and service element both) 27 Men with 50 per cent. disablement or over 8 Pension cases in which the service element is less than the disablement element 22 In gratuity (only) cases, the service gratuity is invariably less than the gratuity for disablement.
