§ Mr. CLAYTONasked the Minister of Health whether the Return of occupations of those included in the Census for the year 1921 is yet available; and, if not, when it will be published, as the information, if to be of any value, should not be delayed?
§ Mr. WHEATLEYThe statistics in question have already been published, county by county, for a number of counties covering practically the whole of the industrial portion of England and Wales, and comprising nearly 37,500,000 out of a total population of less than 38,000,000. The few remaining county volumes will appear in the course of the next three or four weeks, and a summary volume giving the aggregate figures of these and other statistics for England and Wales as a whole is in preparation and will be published in a few months.
