§ Mr. F. GOULDasked the Minister of Labour whether his attention has been called to the fact that a large number of men, whose ages range from 57 years and upwards, have been refused unemployment insurance benefit in consequence of their age and the assumption that they will not again be engaged in an insurable trade or calling; and whether, in view of the fact that local unemployment Committees have recommended benefit in these cases with a full knowledge of the local circumstances, he will support the view of these Committees and authorise a review of all such cases?
