The area returned as under crops and grass in Great Britain in 1867, 1880 and 1922 was 29,727,000 acres, 32,102,000 acres and 30,751,000 acres respectively. The production of wheat in 1885 and 1922 was estimated at 2,145,000 tons and 1,742,000 tons respectively.
