§ Mr. A. V. ALEXANDERA full investigation of the affairs of the City Life Assurance Company, Limited, is being conducted by the Senior Official Receiver, who is an officer of the Board of Trade. If, as a result of that investigation, the Senior Official Receiver come to the conclusion that it is necessary to report the facts to the Court, with a view to a public examination, they will be so reported. In the meantime, the opinion of Counsel is being obtained as to whether any claim for damages for neglect of duty can be established against the directors.
