§ Mr. WELLSasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air if, in view of the fact 2007W that the Imperial airship scheme has been under consideration of the Department concerned for nearly two years, has been approved, and the main contracts agreed to by the late Government, he will endeavour to get an early decision on this matter; and whether he will make a statement as to the Government's proposals regarding this scheme?
§ Mr. LEACHI am not at present in a position to add anything to the reply given on the 18th instant by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister to the hon. and gallant Member for Maidstone (Commander Bellairs), but the Government are fully alive to the need for an early decision in this matter.
