THOMSONasked the Minister of Health if he is aware that the recent reduction in the price charged by the British Cement Trust for cement is largely due to the importation of foreign cement at much lower prices: and will he therefore allow local authorities to continue buying foreign cement for use on relief work in order to prevent the British cement ring again putting up their prices, and thus retarding the building of houses and the construction of roads?
