Mr. T. WILLIAMSasked the Secretary for Mines whether he has considered the question of introducing legislation for the purpose of making compulsory the establishment of pit-head baths at all new collieries; and, if not, will he give consideration to the matter and report to the House at an early date?
§ Mr. SHINWELLI have every sympathy with the principle of extending the provision and use of pit-head baths, and I shall take the earliest opportunity of considering, in consultation with all sections of the industry, the best practicable means of carrying it out.
