§ Mr. GOSLINGAn offer of assistance from the Road Fund has been made, amounting to 75 per cent. of the cost of preparing plans for the construction of a road bridge over the Tay. This arrangement does not commit the Government to a grant in the same proportion towards the cost of the, bridge, and, indeed, at this stage it is not possible to state how the scheme will be financed should it eventually be decided, to carry it out.
