§ Mr. SHAWThe circulars issued by the Unemployment Grants Committee were sent to the Essex County Council, and to the various borough councils, urban and rural district councils and boards of guardians in Essex. Formal applications for grant in respect of 60 schemes have been made by nine authorities, and 30 schemes have so far been approved.
