At the end of 1922 the Commissioners deemed it advisable to transfer the work in connection with rates and taxes on tithe rent charge hitherto done by their agents in North Wales, to their head office and in consequence the rate of commission paid to these agents has been reduced to 4 per cent. as from the 1st December last, whilst the agents who also do the work connected with rates and taxes on tithe rent charge receive 5 per cent. With regard to the office collection, the Commissioners employ Mr. A. Ivor Pryce as a local receiver, and he is paid 2 per cent. on such sums as are paid to him in respect of applications issued direct from the Commissioner's office.
