§ Commander BELLAIRSasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is aware that certain Foreign Governments, such as Uruguay and Argentina, allow exports of cattle from English counties which have been free from foot-and-mouth disease for three months previous to the importation; and whether he will cause representations to be made to the Canadian Government to accept the county basis as to freedom from foot-and-mouth disease?
§ Sir R. SANDERSThe Ministry is already in communication with the representatives of the Canadian Government as to the Regulations governing the import of livestock into that country, and the suggestion made by my hon. and gallant Friend is one of the points under consideration.
