§ Sir M. BARLOWFor the calendar year 1922 the separate amounts paid to the Unemployment Fund by workpeople, employers and the State were respectively.15,800,000, £18,100,000 and £12,300,000. In addition, the State has made advances amounting to £8,290,000, which made the total advances up to 31st December, 1922, £15,890,000.
