BUTCHERasked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies 570W whether His Majesty's Government have been approached by the Irish Free State Government with a view to His Majesty's Government guaranteeing the principal or interest of a loan for a large amount to the Free State Government; and whether, before any binding arrangement for such a guarantee is made by His. Majesty's Government, they will take the opinion of the House of Commons on the subject?
