§ Mr. PONSONBYasked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that Albert Haydock, of Sheffield, has been imprisoned for refusing to perform task work prescribed for him by the Ecclesall Board of Guardians, and that his unemployed benefit which was withdrawn has now-been restored; and whether, in view of the fact that the guardians were attempting to compel an individual to perform a task work at less than the minimum trade union rates of pay and conditions which is the recognised standard for such work, he will give instructions for Hay-dock's release?
