§ Lieut.-Colonel BUCKLEY:My predecessor has already informed the hon. Member that the Department has no reason to anticipate an ultimate loss. In any event, the liability of the Government is limited by Act of Parliament, and the question of an extension of this liability is entirely within the control of the House.
