§ Mr. McNEILLBy article 13 of the Mudania convention the Turks have undertaken to maintain no army in Eastern Thace until peace is ratified. The Greek army is restricted to the west of the left bank -of the Maritza, by article two of the same convention, and General Harington obtained last month from the Greek commander in Thrace an assurance that the Greek troops near the Maritza would take no action which might be considered provocative.
