§ Lieut.-Colonel LANE-FOX:Underground inspections at this group of three pits were made on 16 occasions during the six months ended 31st December. The seams visited were the Silkstone, Beeston and Flockton seams. No exact record was kept of the time actually spent below ground on each occasion, but the average was about four hours.
