§ Mr. CAIRNSasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he can give the House any particulars of the proposed capital levy in Greece?
§ Mr. R. McNEILL:I presume that the hon. Member is referring to the graduated tax on real and personal estate which the Greek Government are proposing to levy as a cover for their new issue of notes. As soon as I receive the text of the decree I will cause a copy to be placed in the Library of the House for the information of Members.
