§ Mr. GROVESasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department, as representing the Ministry of Health, whether his attention has been called to the lack of sanitary conveniences on and around the Winstead Flats, London, East, and the numerous complaints from the residents there against the objectionable state of affairs; whether he is aware that the Corporation of the City of London, the authority having the necessary jurisdiction, refuses to provide the necessary accommodation, contending that the provision of such accommodation comes within the province of bordering local authorities; and whether he will take such immediate action as is necessary to request the Corporation of the City of London to provide the accommodation necessary?
