§ Commander EYRES-MONSELLThe practice in all Royal Marine establishments as to drafting men in their last year of pensionable service to home ports, if possible, is the same as in the Royal Navy, but in view of the great shortage 2323W of men, it is not possible to ensure that this can be carried out in every case, particularly in such a small unit as the Royal Naval School of Music, with the great variety of different types of instruments to be provided.
