§ Mr. GUTHRIEasked the Under-Secretary to the Scottish Board of Health whether the representation of the local authorities for Scotland on the Departmental Committee dealing with the supplies of building materials can be reconsidered, seeing that with the exception of one official of the Scottish Board of Health the present Committee consists of English representatives?
§ Captain ELLIOTI would refer the hon. Member to the reply given on 24th July to the question on this subject addressed to me by the hon. and learned Member for East Fife (Mr. Millar). It is not proposed to press for further specific representation of Scottish interests on the Committee and no request that this should be done has been made to the Board by Scottish local authorities.
