§ Sir R. SANDERSAs I stated on the 2nd July last in reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Barrow-in-Furness (Mr. D. Somerville), the last date up to which returns were obtainable as to the number of allotments in England and Wales was the 31st December, 1920. It is proposed to call for further returns at the end of the present year, but I am unable to give definite figures as to the number of allotments existing on the dates mentioned in the hon. Member's question.
