HC Deb 26 April 1923 vol 163 c698W
Mr. A. T. DAVIES

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is aware that Sir Auckland Geddes, His Majesty's Ambassador at Washington, assured the United States Admiral Chester that Great Britain would not object to the United States endeavouring to secure oil concessions in Turkey; and what action has been taken by His Majesty's Government in the matter?

Mr. McNEILL

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given to the Noble Lord the Member for South Battersea (Viscount Curzon) yesterday.
