Mr. G. WHITEasked the Prime Minister whether it is intended to introduce legislation to give effect to any provisions of the Economy (Miscellaneous) Provisions Bill other than those included in the Fees (Increase) Bill?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI would refer the hon. Member to the reply given to him on the 20th February last. In addition to the Bills mentioned therein the provisions of the Economy (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill relating to the consolidation of police forces will be introduced in the form of a separate Bill. Certain other provisions of the Economy (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill will now be incorporated in other Bills.
