HC Deb 12 April 1923 vol 162 cc1324-5W
Mr. J. H. SIMPSON

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has any information as to a piratical attack on the British schooner "Marion Mosher," off the coast of Long Island, in January last; whether the schooner was carrying a cargo of 4,000 cases of liquor from Nassau, Bahamas, to St. John, New Brunswick, at the time of the attack; whether the whole of that cargo was removed by the pirates; whether any inquiries have been made into the case; and, if so, with what result?

Mr. McNEILL

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative; the rest of the question therefore does not arise.
