GRAHAMasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the delay in dealing with claims by business firms and others for damage done to their property by enemy action during the War and the hardship in- 1321W volved in many cases, he will take steps to hasten the work of the Royal Commission on Compensation for Suffering and Damage by Enemy Action, either by placing additional staff at its disposal for the investigation of the claims or in such other way as may be possible?
§ Viscount WOLMERThe Royal Commission is proceeding with the work as expeditiously as possible, and it is not considered that an increase of clerical staff would accelerate the investigation.
