§ Sir J. REMNANTasked the Postmaster-General if the National Federa- 1242W tion of Postal and Telegraph Clerks has now been officially recognised by his Department as a properly constituted postal association; how many branches has it in London and the provinces; and what is its membership?
§ Mr. PEASEThe National Federation of Postal and Telegraph Clerks is not an officially recognised body, although certain of its branches in London are allowed to discuss matters with the local postmasters. I have no information as to the total number of the branches: I understand the total membership in January last was about 6,000.
