Mr. DAVID DAVIESasked the Minister of Health whether he is of opinion that a risk to public health would be entailed by the admittance, under suitable safeguards, to this country of children from the Russian famine area; and whether a list of the necessary precautions has been drawn up by the Ministry of Health?
§ Sir A. MONDI am advised that the admission to this country of children from the Russian famine area would certainly entail considerable risk to the public health, although this risk could be minimised by the adoption of adequate precautionary measures. The answer to the last part of the question is in the affirmative.
