§ Mr. AMMONasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the sum of £25,000,000, estimated to be expended under Supplementary Estimates for the year to 31st March, 1923, is in addition to the estimated expenditure of the new unemployment scheme, the grant to Northern Ireland for unemployment, and the estimated expenditure on overseas settlements, or whether, out of this sum of £25,000,000, liabilities under Supplementary Estimates amounting to about £5,000,000 have already been incurred, so as to leave only £20,000,000 for further contingencies?
