§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he is aware that an old age pensioner receiving a pension from a superannuation fund, to which he has himself contributed, of £32 16s. per annum is only entitled to receive an old age pension of 6s. per week, and that if by less thrift he is only entitled to a pension of £26 per annum he can then receive an old age pension of 10s. per week, making a total income of £52 a year instead of £48 8s.; and what steps the Government propose to take to remedy this hindrance to thrift?
