The cost of still further increasing the retired pay in these cases up to the scale in Army Order 324 of 1919 would be about £1,200 a year. The cost of reassessing, under Army Order 324 of 1919, the retired pay of all officers who retired before the War and are not entitled to such reassessment under present rules is estimated at about £250,000 a year, on the information available.
