Captain BENNasked the Minister of Health what is the Government's attitude in reference to the inclusion of nurses in the Unemployment Insurance Bill?

As my hon. and gallant Friend may be aware, an Amendment was moved to the Unemployment Insurance Act recently passed and accepted by the Government, the effect of which is that as from 1st July next Unemployment Insurance contributions are not payable in respect of employment as a female professional nurse for the sick, or as a female probationer undergoing training for such employment.
