§ Major HILLSasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether all persons who had not paid Super-tax by 5th April last were threatened with legal proceedings if the tax was not paid within seven days; whether these threats were made to all who were in default; and, if not, what discrimination was made?
Mr. YOUNGNo alteration has been made this year in the methods of collection of Super-tax. Where duty is not paid in response to the first demand, a reminding notice is issued, appropriate to the circumstances of the individual case.
