Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe course suggested by my hon. and gallant Friend is a very unusual one, and I am not prepared to adopt it. The grounds for the decision of the Government were stated by the Minister of Agriculture on the 9th February last in reply to a question by my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Daventry (Captain Fitzroy), and if my hon. and gallant Friend requires further information T would refer him to the evidence given before the Royal Commission on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture.
