§ Mr. FISHERSo far as I am aware, the expenditure of the Board on the scheme is question is not included in the Return. I would refer the hon. Baronet to the note (e) on page 7 of the Return. The grants made by the Board of Education under the scheme in question up to the 31st March, 1921, amounted to £4,626,000. The estimated expenditure in the year 1921–22 is £1,925,000, and the cost 1561W of the scheme after the end of the current financial year is estimated at, approximately, £1,450,000.
