§ Dr. MACNAMARAI have been asked to reply. The Unemployed Workers' Dependants (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1921, came into force early in November last, and no expenditure was, of course, incurred in 1920–21. The amount of the State grant during the latter part of 1921–22, namely, from November, 1921, to 31st March, 1922, is, approximately, £2,100,000.
