§ Mr. MILLSasked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that no officials having power to facilitate the return of Conventionists who served with military forces on the side of the Allies are to be found at any place nearer to South Russia than the British Passport Control Office at Constantinople; and whether, in these circumstances, he will consider applications which may be forwarded by post from Russia, accompanied by satisfactory documentary evidence of the applicant's military service?
§ Mr. SHORTTI am aware of difficulties such as are indicated in the first part of the question, and have under consideration the best means, if any can be found, of meeting them; but I do not think I can adopt the suggestion made in the last paragraph of the question.
