§ Mr. NEALI deprecate the institution of comparisons between the amount of the collections from motor taxation in any particular area and the amount allocated in grants to that area. The Road Fund, to which the net proceeds of motor taxation accrue, is a national fund. Grants are distributed on general principles and apply equally to all parts of the country.
