§ Captain W. BENNasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the boycott upon English-made goods which competed with goods of a similar character manufactured in Ireland has actually been lifted; and, if not, whether the Government can take steps to ensure its removal in the interests of British traders?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLThe policy of boycotting English-made goods was understood to have been definitely abandoned after the signature of the Treaty, but I am informed that the Resolution imposing the boycott has not been formally rescinded, and I am in communication with the Provisional Government in the matter.
