WORTHINGTON-EVANSThe net saving due to the closing of the church is about £180 per annum, which is the sum of the late cost of the clergy and organist and of heating and lighting, etc., less the payment now made in respect of the attendance of the troops at another church. The estimated cost of altering the dining-hall is £375, and the reason for this expenditure is to adapt the hall to house the Small Arms Design Office, with resultant economy.
