§ Mr. MONTAGUI have received memorials from a number of officers of the Indian Forest Service, but do not think I have seen the particular memorial referred to. I am afraid that in the present financial conditions I cannot hold out any hope of further improvement in the rates of pension, but final orders have not yet been passed.
